"God showed me something small, no bigger than a hazelnut, lying in the palm of my hand… and it was round as a ball. I looked at it with the eye of my understanding and thought: 'What can this be?' And it was generally answered thus: 'It is all that was made.' It was so small I thought it might disappear, but I was answered... everything has being through the love of God." --Julian of Norwich

Our minister Justin wordled some of his sermons, happy to find out God was the most used word, so I thought I would try my old senior thesis on Julian of Norwich. The result makes me feel kind of proud of it. God is not the most used word, but he does score in there. Overall, it was a fairly spiritual and theological English thesis, which is a nice reminder that going to seminary is a very good and natural thing for me to do ( I have to admit sometimes I do feel a little crazy trying to explain it to my colleagues at work). Only about four more weeks!

  1. Laura,

I'm not familiar with Wordle, but it reminds me of Semantic Bible.

Lol@ using the word feminine over and over again, but also referring to the Divine with the masculine pronoun.
