"God showed me something small, no bigger than a hazelnut, lying in the palm of my hand… and it was round as a ball. I looked at it with the eye of my understanding and thought: 'What can this be?' And it was generally answered thus: 'It is all that was made.' It was so small I thought it might disappear, but I was answered... everything has being through the love of God." --Julian of Norwich

School's back in!

Where did the time go?

Well, I can tell you where it went... into a lot of packing and moving and driving and visiting and a LOT of good coffee and tea shared with good friends. Sorry I didn't give a more detailed version over the course of the summer.

So, briefly, I feel it is worth mentioning that I'm at one of those rare moments in life where everything seems possible. This week Clint and I start orientation at Regent College and we start a whole new era in our lives. I realized this weekend that, although I thought I had an idea of what God has in store for me here, I have no idea what my life or mind will look like at the end of three or so years. That is very, very exciting. And scary. But mostly exciting.

al shal be wel and al shal be wel and al maner of things shal be wel...

  1. Mark and I are making serious plans to go to the 2010 winter Olympics in Vancouver. Perhaps we could stay with you? Or at least visit you too?:)
